Southeast Fog

When it rolls in it certainly does with a fury. This morning, even at four, the day was lit by a bright white fog. Only things within a few feet were visible, much like a snow storm in the mountains, but peaceful and unmoving. How beautiful and silent. Later, the sun burned off the thickness, the clouds lifted and now only a slight mist hangs. I am thankful to have witnessed such a brief moment.
